One of Cupron's priorities is to develop and test bioactive fibers in a variety of fields, including healthcare, industrial, military and consumer industries. Utilizing the unique qualities of copper, Cupron's patented technology adds a broad-spectrum anti-microbial compound to protect a wide range of Cupron fiber products. Cupron's technological breakthrough enables these qualities to be exploited in a cost effective manner in a wide variety of new products.
Tests conducted in independent testing laboratories have demonstrated product efficacy in deactivation of a wide variety of microorganisms. Cupron's proprietary copper oxide compound is natural and long lasting and is biocompatible for non-intrusive medical devices.

Jeffrey S. Gabbay, Founder and CEO (with Grand Daughter Carmel)
Mr. Gabbay studied textile engineering and has a background in finance from New York University. He has thirty years of experience in hi-tech fibers and textiles, a background, which afforded the unique, multifaceted approach needed to develop the Cupron technology. For the past twenty years, Mr. Gabbay has served as a technical consultant and representative of Springs Industries and Burlington Industries, Inc., the two largest textile companies in the U.S. and as an independent consultant to military establishments in numerous countries. He has served as an advisor to a number of countries over his 30 year career in military and technical textiles. Mr. Gabbay has spearheaded the development of Cupron's technology and product line. With a team of textile and mechanical engineers, he has engineered, designed, and built the pilot system for upgrading to mass production.
Arthur I Eidelman MD FAAP, Chief Medical Advisor
Arthur Isaac Eidelman was born in New York and received his MD degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York and his Pediatric and Neonatology training at Yale University School of Medicine, Connecticut. Board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatology, both in the US and Israel, he has served as Chief of Neonatology and subsequently as Chief of Pediatrics at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem since his moving to Israel in 1978.
As professor of Pediatrics at the Einstein College of Medicine, the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, the Hebrew University School of Medicine and as Research Scientist of Yale University Child Study Center he has researched and pioneered the development of care practices for the newborn and infant worldwide. As an author and coauthor he has published over 200 peer reviewed article, monographs and textbooks in the field of pediatrics with a special emphasis on issues related to infection, nutrition and neurobehavioral development.
Among his many international activities Professor Eidelman is the International Editor of the Journal of Perinatology, serves on the Editorial Board of Breastfeeding Medicine, Journal of Human Lactation and is the Chairman of the Policy Committee of the Section of Breastfeeding of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Gadi Borkow, Ph.D., Virologist and Chief Medical Scientist
Dr. Gadi Borkow obtained his Ph.D. degree on Biochemistry from the Tel Aviv University, Israel on 1994. His post-doctoral studies were conducted at McGill University AIDS Centre between 1994 to 1997, during which he specialized on Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1).
In 1998 Dr. Borkow joined the Hebrew University Institute of Immunology and AIDS Center, where he studied virological and immunological aspects of HIV-1 infection. Since 2002 Dr. Borkow is the Chief Medical Scientist of Cupron. Dr. Borkow also teaches at the Hebrew University in Israel. Dr. Borkow is the inventor of 7 patents, has published over 80 peer reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals, and his studies have been presented in more than 80 scientific conferences.
Tom Page , VP for Environmental and Regulatory Affairs
Tom Page , VP for Environmental and Regulatory Affairs, comes to Cupron from a position as an attorney at the largest Washington, DC law firm, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr, a federal appellate clerkship with Judge Carlos F. Lucero, and a fellowship to study European and French law at the University of Paris. In addition to his work for Cupron, he teaches environmental and public health law at the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has lectured and published in those fields.
Avrum Aaron , Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Aaron earned a J.D. from Columbia University in 1994 and an LLM (Tax) from New York University in 1997. After graduating from law school, he worked as a Tax Associate in two elite New York City law firms for four years. Subsequently, he has worked as an analyst in the hedge fund business, specializing in arbitrage and special situations. Mr. Aaron's work experience includes accounting, capital funding, complex structuring of business ventures, budgeting, and regulatory issues.
Mark Faber, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Faber holds a BA in Intl. History and Msc in Mangement both from the London School of Economics & Political Science. For the past 10 years both in Israel and the US, he has worked as a management consultant and executive aiding companies improve their operational efficiency and profitability in a variety of industries, as well as working with enterprise software companies to develop hi-tech solutions to supply chain and other operational problems. Most recently, Mr. Faber spent 4 years as COO and CIO of Marc Ecko Enterprises, a $1.2 billion design, wholesale and retail apparel and youth lifestyle company.
Jamie Ben David- Director of E-commerce
Jamie brings over 10 years of e-commerce and internet business development experience to Cupron. He has worked on a number of e-commerce projects dating back to 1998. Ben David has worked with AOL, IDT, Art Scroll books and Internet Traffic Solutions. Before coming on board as Cupron's director of e-commerce he was in charge of project development for Mydearchild.com.
Eli Mason - Director of Quality Control
As Quality Systems Manager at Cupron, Eli is responsible for creating and implementing the quality systems, policies and procedures that are necessary for strengthening Cupron's position in the American and European markets. Prior to joining Cupron, Eli garnered over ten years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry, including seven years in management positions at Global Inc., one of Canada's largest office furniture manufacturers. In addition to efficiently managing his division, Eli also led a new line of Health Care furniture to win a gold award at the IIdex Show, Canada's largest Furniture and Design show.
Eli immigrated to Israel from Canada in 2006 with his family, and holds a BA in Economics from Toronto's York University.
Neta Levy-Okon, Ph.D., Microbiologist
Dr. Levy-Okon earned her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in 2006 in The Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology, Faculty of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Quality Sciences, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
During her studies she gained extensive experience in bacteriology and microbiology assays, including isolation, growth, and characterization of microbial pathogens. Dr. Levy-Okon is now in charge of antimicrobial testing of Cupron's products.

Donna J. Edmonds
Donna J. Edmonds brings over 30 years of experience in both the provider and the industry side of the healthcare business. Her primary focus has been in the introduction, management and commercialization of new and revolutionary technologies primarily in critical care areas for patient care. She has been a Hospital Administrator (Director of Nursing) and General Manager of a specialty physician group prior to her recruitment to industry. Her industry experience includes eight years with Baxter International in the Alternate Site, Diagnostics and Cardiovascular groups, the last four as a Vice President at the group level, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
She then left industry in the mid 90's to start or participate in several start ups including raising several million dollars to take one company where she was President, public. She was the Senior Vice President, Market and Business Development for the Cardiovascular Strategic Business Unit of Inverness Medical Innovations, a public company with over $500M in revenue, following the acquisition of VC backed Ischemia Technologies in Q1, 2005 where she held a similar position.
In December 2005 she organized the financing for and became the COO and SVP for Market Development for VC backed Vital Sensors Inc, which is commercializing a sensor based cardiac pressure monitor. Appointed in 2000 by the Governor, she became a member of the Virginia Biotech Research Park Authority and a founding member of the Virginia Biosciences Development Center. In October of 2007 she accepted responsibility for the continued launch and management of the Virginia BioSciences Commercialization Center and became the Executive Director of that Center.
Peter Pfortner, President of Cupron Advanced Materials (CAM)
Mr. Pfortner joins Cupron from Shamrock Technologies a leader in flouropolymer products for plastics, inks, and coatings.
Prior to Shamrock, Peter worked at Color and Additive Technologies in Dalton, GA where he was involved with various polymer compounds used in a variety of industries. This is also the place where the initial research began with Cupron and the cuprous oxide technology. Peter has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University in Muenster, Germany. He has 25 years of experience with polymer processing.
Ms. Jean O'Connor, VP of Global Logistics
Ms. O'Connor studied business administration and accounting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jean's career in logistics has encompasses more than 15 years in the domestic and international textile industry. Throughout the years she has had several successful sale and marketing strategies that have facilitated market growth patterns. Prior experience includes the operational and financial management of multiple private businesses.

Mike Clibbens,C.A., CEO, Cupron Iberia S.L.
Mike was born and educated in the United Kingdom. He qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Mike's professional career has covered many industries including chemicals, electronics, paper, food, civil engineering and office equipment. He has served on the Boards of many large international companies, the last of which was a CFO of Xerox Corporation European Operations.
He has specialist knowledge of large company acquisitions, flotations, investigations and successful start-up operations.
His experience has not only covered finance, but has also included responsibility for production, marketing, sales, R&D, human relations, IT and administration.
Outside of his business activities, Mike served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the English International College, the fastest growing International College in Southern Spain.
Mike is based in Spain and is now developing the newly formed subsidiary of Cupron Inc, Cupron Iberia S.L.
Anthony Felix , Cupron Inc. VP UK Marketing
Anthony Felix graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Warwick in 1968. Mr. Felix founded a publishing company which he sold to Reed International PLC in 1988.
He launched the Prestel Viewdata service as an advisor to the British Post Office and developed the world's first public on-line interactive text information service. He was appointed Chairman of Hanson Green, a specialist consultancy assisting in the placement of non-executive chairmen and directors to the boards of British quoted companies. He assisted many Government initiatives and was appointed by the Secretary of State for Employment as the first chairman of the North London Training & Enterprise Council.
In 1992 he was appointed by the Secretary of State for Health as chairman of an NHS hospital trust in North London. He chaired the NHS National Strategic Committee for purchasing and supply and the committee that established the standards of corporate governance performance for NHS Trust and Health Authority boards. In 1998 he was appointed to the Court of Middlesex University.

Alon is the CEO of Top Marketing International Company, based in Israel that specializes in the marketing of sports and sponsorships in Israel. Clients include: Israeli Paralympics Committee for Beijing and London, Israeli Golf Association, Gaash Gold Club, Caesarean Golf Club, Israeli Bicycle Union and the Tel Aviv Marathon.

Jens Peter Husemann, Cupron Germany
Jens leads the Cupron marketing efforts into the German medical field. His extensive contact base and numerous years of working in related fields has made him a major asset to the company's growth.
Turkey
Ms. Eser Ogucu,Cupron Turkey
Ms. Ogucu received her BSc in Management from Bilkent University, Ankara, in 2004. She earned her MSc in Technical Textiles & Performance Clothing at University of Leeds, U.K, in 2006. Soon afterwards she began working with the U.K/U.S.A based corporation, Andrew Industries, one of the largest in the needle felt nonwoven industry in the world. Most recently, she has developed a 15 million USD technical textile yarn market for her company where she works as well as the marketing and supply chain manager.
