Paul Rocheleau
Executive Chairman
Mr. Rocheleau started his career at DuPont in the fibers area and moved to the global chemical company Albright and Wilson plc where he ultimately was CEO. Mr. Rocheleau went on to become CFO of Albemarle Corporation and then a Managing Partner at Cary Street Partners, an investment bank. Mr. Rocheleau left Cary Street Partners to become Chairman of Virginia Life Science Investments LLC, a private investment company with focus on biotechnology. Mr. Rocheleau has his MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.
Danny Lustiger
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lustiger is an experienced professional with over 15 years of experience in high tech and industrial business. Previously, Mr. Lustiger was Deputy CEO & CFO of Shikun & Binui Holding Company, CFO of Optibase Ltd and President of Optibase Inc. Mr. Lustiger has an MBA in Finance and International Management and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics both from Tel Aviv University, and attended the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
John D. Cudzik
Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Mr. Cudzik ‘s career experience spans across operations, finance, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and investment banking. Prior to joining Cupron in 2009, John was a Director at Matrix Capital Markets Group, Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions at Ferguson Enterprises, and Director of Corporate Development at Albright & Wilson. Mr. Cudzik received his B.A. in Economics from The College of William and Mary, and an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond.
Chris Andrews
General Manager
Mr. Andrews is a seasoned executive with 20 years of C-level experience in domestic and international manufacturing and technology companies. His strengths include developing and executing organic and inorganic growth strategies and profit improvement. Prior to joining Cupron in 2010, Mr. Andrews was CEO of Nanochemonics LLC, COO of Infinity, and CEO of Screening International. Mr. Andrews received a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Dafna Gabbay
Vice President of Marketing
Ms. Gabbay joined Cupron after spending 5 years in executive positioned in global advertising agencies in New York, working on technology brands including Motorola, IBM and AT&T. Prior to that Ms. Gabbay was a manager in the Corporate Finance Department of Ernst & Young. Ms. Gabbay holds M.S. in Marketing from Baruch College and an L.L.B. from Hebrew University.
Samuel Pescara
Vice President of Sales
Mr. Pescara has 15 years of international sales management experience in the fields of high tech distribution and retailing. Previous positions include Vice President of Sales at CastUP, and Associate Vice President of Sales at Optibase. Samuel holds a B.A. in Economics from Bar Ilan University and an M.B.A. from Hebrew University.
Lee Gordon
Vice President of Product Development
Mr. Gordon has 40 years of experience in the Textile industry with product development, quality control, marketing and sales. Prior to joining Cupron in 2010, Mr. Gordon was Sales Manager for Fiber and Yarn Products, President of Next Technology, Senior Vice President Product Development and Marketing for Unifi, and Director of Product Development and Quality Control from Macfield. Mr. Gordon received his B.S. in Textiles from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Gadi Borkow
Chief Medical Scientist and Virologist
Dr. Borkow’s area of expertise is virology, and he is responsible for managing clinical and research trials in Europe and Israel as well as evaluating product science and efficacy in partner applications. Before joining Cupron, Dr. Borkow studied the virological and immunological aspects of HIV-1 infection at the Hebrew University Ruth Ben-Ari Institute of Clinical Immunology and AIDS Center, and also taught Virology and Comparative Anatomy at the Hebrew University. Dr. Borkow has published over 100 peer reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals, and his studies have been presented in more than 90 scientific conferences. Dr. Borkow serves as a reviewer of several scientific journals, NIH forums and as an Editor of Open Biology Journal. Dr. Borkow obtained his Ph.D. at Tel Aviv University and his post-doctoral studies were conducted at McGill University AIDS Centre where he specialized in Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1).
Dr. Alastair Monk
Director of Clinical and Scientific Affairs
Dr. Monk’s area of expertise is microbiology and he is responsible for managing clinical and research trials in the United States, and executing regulatory strategy in the United States. Prior to joining Cupron, Dr. Monk was Head Scientist at Biocontrol Ltd. Dr. Monk received his PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Epidemiology from Bath University and B.S. in Biology and Microbiology from the University of Birmingham. Dr. Monk performed his post doctoral studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
