Cupron announced today that it has received a US $100,000 Grand Challenges Explorations grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Cupron's project is one of 81 grants announced out of about 7000 applications that were submitted to the fund. The grant will support an innovative global health research project conducted by Dr. Gadi Borkow, Chief Medical Officer of Cupron, titled “The Cupron Breastmilk Shield to Prevent HIV Transmission.”
