Cupron brings the proven antimicrobial, anti-infection, skin enhancement, and wound healing properties of copper oxide into a wide range of medical product applications. We are working with both partner companies and regulatory agencies to bring Cupron Technology to the medical arena. Our current initiatives address significant healthcare issues such as Healthcare Associated Infections (such as MRSA or Staph), preventing diabetic ulcers or pressure ulcers, and bringing copper oxide’s skin enhancement benefits to the science of wound healing.
Industrial
The growing presence of mold and mildew are significant concerns and economic issues facing both the construction and food service industries. Also, the odor-causing and product-deterioration-causing bacteria and fungi are especially a concern in confined places.
By embedding Cupron technology into the elemental substrates used in manufacturing, Cupron offers our partners tremendous flexibility in several applications.
Military
The preservative antimicrobial and skin enhancement benefits of Cupron Technology integrated into military clothing and footwear provide a layer of protection by creating a barrier against the growth of odor-causing fungus and bacteria. Cupron was recently selected by the Israel Defense Forces to supply anti-microbial socks. With this selection the IDF became the first army in the world to supply anti-microbial socks based on the innovative copper-based technology to its soldiers.
